Salesforce Fundamentals for Business Users and Consultants

This class was developed specifically for business users, leaders, and technologists who need to understand the business value and benefits of Salesforce and the various Clouds. The class presents a broad range of topics at the right level of detail for the intended audience, including discussion, demonstration and hands-on exercises related to End User, Business Analyst and Administrator tools and features in Salesforce.

This class is delivered by a senior instructor with many years of real-world Salesforce consulting and sales experience. Following a general overview of Salesforce and related products, the instructor will guide participants through hands-on discovery of sales and service features, automation, reporting and dashboards. Hands-on exercises introduce Administrative customization of Salesforce with clicks-not-code, and the instructor will discuss when and why to use Apex, Visualforce and Lightning Components. Participants will learn the keys to successful change management and user adoption as well as important considerations for ongoing management of Salesforce.

Each student will be given a practice learning environment to use during hands-on exercises during the class. The student will be able to use this learning environment indefinitely after the class without any additional fee.
