Description
This course is designed for IT administrators who need to install, configure, and maintain Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 on a Windows Server 2003 computer. It’s intended as a quick start guide to assist you in getting Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 up and running quickly on a Windows server. It’s not designed to teach user-level skills in SharePoint Services, administrative skills in Windows Server 2003, or SharePoint network planning and design. Before taking this course, you should have some experience working with and supporting Windows Server 2003 computers. You can obtain these skills by taking our MCSE 70-290: Managing and Maintaining a Windows Server 2003 Environment course. It’s helpful, but not required, that you have user-level skills with Windows SharePoint Services 3.0. You can obtain these skills by taking the Windows SharePoint Services 3.0: Basic and Windows SharePoint Services 3.0: Advanced courses.
