Business-centric focus: Other ESL programs are generic. ExecuTrain’s programs are designed specifically around business and professional topics and skills. Universities deliver fundamental English language workforce development, but ExecuTrain delivers business and professional English language development. Our practical skills training topics often include introduction skills, sales language and culture, meeting skills, the language of negotiation and persuasion, project management vocabulary, writing professional emails and letters, professional telephone conduct, and more.
Industry-specific curriculum development: Every industry has its own language, idioms, jargon, and standards of communication. ExecuTrain understands this and will leverage industry trade organizations, publications, and academic research to build a talent development program specifically for your business and your company’s industry. IT students in a language immersion program will be exposed to IT topics and work in IT scenarios. If your industry is construction, we will tailor a program to include vocabulary, pronunciation, and special interests in construction, engineering, and architecture. Assessment-centric training: Our consulting training programs are all assessment and outcomes-centric. For each student we will provide a written initial assessment and develop an Individual Learning Plan (ILP). We will share the plan and the student’s progress with managers, talent development professionals, and others within your organization. We will seek feedback on the student’s goals, objectives, and progress from throughout the organization. And we will incorporate both your organization’s goals and the student’s personal goals, such as TOEFL® certification from ETS, into their individual learning plan.
